How does Quilla actually work?
Unlike a tampon, which expands against your vaginal wall as it absorbs, Quilla rests further back in the fornix — a spot with far fewer nerve endings — and collects instead of absorbing. It has no suction seal to break, unlike a cup, so there's nothing to struggle with on removal.
What size do I need?
Quilla comes in two sizes, Small and Large. If you're unsure, Small fits most people comfortably; consider Large if you have a heavier flow or have found other internal products sit loosely.
Is there a learning curve?
Most people need about a cycle to get comfortable with insertion and removal — that's normal for anyone switching from a tampon or pad. It gets easier fast.
Can I use Quilla with an IUD?
Quilla has no suction seal, which removes one of the two mechanisms researchers have looked at regarding cups and IUD displacement. That said, no disc-specific studies exist yet, so we can't claim it prevents displacement. If you have an IUD, talk to your provider before switching products.
Does it help with cramps?
Many disc users report less cramping than with a tampon, since a tampon presses outward against already-cramping walls while a disc doesn't. This is user-reported, not a clinical finding — individual results vary, and Quilla isn't intended to treat any medical condition.
What is it made of?
Medical-grade silicone — reusable for years with proper care.
When will my order ship?
We ship to the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Delivery typically takes 2–9 business days depending on your location — you'll get a tracking number by email once your order ships.
What is your return policy?
Unopened, unused items can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. For hygiene reasons we can't accept returns on opened or used items, unless they arrived defective or damaged — those are always covered. See our Refund Policy for details.

How do I clean it?
Rinse with water between uses during your cycle, and wash with mild, unscented soap and water at the end of your cycle. Avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleansers.
